Dear visitor of our beautiful city of Amsterdam,

As you have probably read in the flyer, Amsterdam is not only the capital of museums and diamonds, but also possesses an extended beach on the North Sea shore: Amsterdam Beach. Please enhance your visit to the city with an afternoon of leisure at Amsterdam Beach.

On top of that, we strongly advise a visit to Amsterdam Castle, a genuine fortress built in the Middle Ages for defence purposes against alien threat.

For directions, please refer to the official flyer.

NEVER IN ANY CASE, ASK THE LOCALS FOR DIRECTIONS TO AMSTERDAM BEACH OR AMSTERDAM CASTLE.

Actually, never talk to a local at all.

The reason being that there exist two parallel universes: one for the locals and one for tourists. The twain never meet. The locals will have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. In the worst scenario they will send you off in a wrong direction.

So please do trust in our official communication and you will be just fine.

Yours truly,

Imke Wederrups
